"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Don't get me wrong - Deviantart would be good for SOME people. People with nothing better to do than show off mediocre chicken scratches such as mines. But it dawned on me that I neeeever fucking use Deviantart. I just rememeber I had one, and I was expecting ym message box to be chock full of messages. No messages. No friend invites. No point in using Deviantart.
